About Me

Keely Needham BSc(Hons) CCAB

With a deep passion for animal welfare I have worked within the animal care industry for over 15 years to improve the lives of hundreds of animals and their owners.

I have a first class honors degree in Clinical Animal Behaviour and Welfare, and have gained accreditation as a  Certificated Clinical Animal Behaviourist (CCAB). I’m a certificated member of the Fellowship of Animal Behaviour Clinicians

Independent assessment by CCAB Certification provides assurance to you as animal caregivers, that a Certificated Clinical Animal Behaviourist (CCAB) has the knowledge and experience to preform their role safely, professionally and to a very high standard in what is an unregulated industry.

I have a wealth of experience working with dogs of all breeds and backgrounds and have a passion for understanding the complex needs of troubled dogs and enhancing the bonds with their care-givers and owners.

I use scientific, reward-based methods of training to ensure that both the dog and owner benefit from and enjoy the process, setting them up for success, along with improving welfare and outcomes .

As well as running Thoughts For Paws caring for clients in Shropshire and  Staffordshire, I also work as a Clinical Animal Behaviourist for a large UK wide animal charity.
